The Vic is a Footscray institution with Andy Smith's drinks list perfectly pitched to eager crowd of regulars. A solid offering of beers (both tap and packaged) sets the scene backed by the short, snappy by-the-glass list. he main list offers an enticing range of local benchmarks and international favourites. William Downie, Rockford, Jasper Hill and Bowen Estate rub shoulders with Dr. Loosen, Pieropan and Laurent-Perrier.
The pricing is modest with value to the fore. There's even a magnum of Torbreck The Steading to enjoy over a long lunch.
